Order a Matterport Virtual Reality tour through your Vista Estate Imaging account, the same way that you order a regular photo shoot. We’ll get it scheduled ASAP! A Matterport shoot can take anywhere from 2-4 hours. The camera has both regular and infrared lenses, to document the home in 3 dimensions and to create a floor plan. The camera turns around 360 degrees to document all directions from a given point. The photographer will move the camera to many different points throughout the house to create a thorough tour, often showing views out of windows and views room-to-room. It is essential for all elements to remain consistent throughout the shoot – if a chair is out of place or doors are opened and then closed, it can cause problems requiring the photographer to have to re-shoot segments. For this reason, it is best for homeowners and their pets to NOT be present at the photo shoot. Any people or pets who are present at the photo shoot should kindly stay far away from the camera when it is shooting, unless they are trying to photobomb the completed tour!
